Jaclyn's Baby Bump - Columbia, SC Maternity Photographer

This was a very special session to do.  I've know Jaclyn since I was in 1st grade!  Now, we are all grown up and having babies!  And isn't she the cutest pregnant person you have ever seen!?!  They will be welcoming a sweet baby girl in August- Baby Kynlee.  On a side note, it must be made known that Jaclyn was even able to slip on a pair of pre-pregnancy jeans for some of the shots... and button them!
I loved this session for the reason mentioned above, but also because of the beautiful home that another long-time family friend let us use for the session (thanks Suzanne : )  This was an ideal indoor session because there were HUGE sliding glass doors that we were able to open to let in all of the fabulous light.  Also, Jaclyn brought with her a plethora of clothing options with all kinds of varying colors and textures.  This let us really coordinate her clothing with the colors and styles of the areas we shot in which ALWAYS leads to more pleasing images.  I definitely recommend bringing several clothing options to my sessions so that we can mix and match what will look best with a particular location.
Something else to mention, people always wonder when the best time to book a maternity session is.  Ideally, you want to be between 32 and 36 weeks.  That way you have a nice baby bump, but aren't too terribly uncomfortable.
Enjoy the images!

Baby Audrey

Let's just say that hanging out with this cutie really made me want a little girl of my own : )  Ok, so I will be just as happy with a boy as I would be with a girl, but man I loved this baby's long, flirty eyelashes and perfectly poised lips... totally feminine and adorable.  She was such a happy baby too!
Audrey was at a great stage in babyhood for me to get some really great, expressive shots of her.  She also had two not-so-typical, camera-happy siblings that made their way into a few images.

Caroline & Lillian

These two girls were so fun!  The combination of their two personalities was great.  Caroline wants to be an author and a has a flair for drama and Lillian is just a happy-go-lucky, go-with-the-flow kinda girl.  They were too sweet!  This session took place at their home.  They had a great tree swing that the girls loved to play on and the yard was so green and lush.  And don't you just love the beautiful purple hydrangea's!  I had never before seen hydrangea's like this before.  The flowers were perfect for adding color and interest to the neutral palette of the lovely white dresses. Towards the end of the session we walked down the street to finish off at their grandparent's house.  All in all, it was a great session!

Lindsey and Ryan

Oh, I have just been dying to get these images up on my blog.  I absolutely LOVED this session!  You might've seen my casting call a few weeks ago for models for a few sessions that I needed to complete for a photography group that I am a part of.  Well, this was one of those sessions.  The assignment was for me to select a model or two, select a location, with their personal style in mind I had to select their wardrobe as to what would look best on them as well as with the location I selected.  I don't think I could've gotten a more fabulous couple! So many faves!
